Australian beef is characterized by its high quality and variety. There are two main types of cattle: Temperate breeds: such as Hereford and Angus, which are raised in South Australia, where the climate is milder and the soil is fertile. Tropical breeds: such as Brahman and Droughtmaster, which are found in the north of the country. In addition, Australian Wagyu is a prominent breed, known for its exceptional marbling and tenderness, and comes from cows raised in Australia.
